Legal notice, privacy and terms

This website is published by the founding team of Bottle on the Sea, a digital heritage venture at pre-seed stage.

We collect only the information you submit through the enquiry forms: your name, email address, organisation and professional context, the content of your message and the language you used.

Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f)).

Purpose: replying to your enquiry, sending investor deck access when requested, and managing the pilot waitlist. We do not sell or rent your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Hosting and storage: enquiry data is stored in a managed European-grade cloud database accessible only to the founding team through secured server-side code.

Retention: enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to contact@bottleonthesea.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies: this site uses no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. A single technical cookie is used to remember private deck access when you enter an access code.

This site is provided for information purposes only. Content may change without notice as the project evolves.

Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice or an offer to sell securities. Investor materials are shared privately with qualified contacts and remain confidential.

The Bottle on the Sea name, seal and visual identity are the property of the founding team. Do not reuse them without written permission.

Applicable law: the law of the jurisdiction of the company once incorporated; disputes will be handled by its competent courts.

The security architecture described on this site (end-to-end encryption, cryptographic provenance, inheritance protocols) is a design target for the platform under development, not a certified live system.

No security certification, audit or compliance attestation is claimed at this stage. Independent audits are planned before any pilot handles real personal archives.
