A Digital Memory Vault is a permanent, encrypted home for personal and cultural memory: photographs, voices, letters, video and documents, organised by artificial intelligence and protected by cryptographic proof of authenticity. Unlike cloud storage, it is designed around preservation and transmission rather than convenience and sync.

A digital legacy is everything you leave behind in digital form. It includes both the material itself and the context that makes it meaningful — names, dates, relationships and stories. Preserving a digital legacy means keeping that material readable and verifiable for generations, and passing it on to the people you choose.

Cloud services keep files available while you pay and while the company exists. They are not designed to outlive you, to prove authenticity decades later, or to transmit an archive to named beneficiaries under defined conditions. Bottle on the Sea is building that missing infrastructure layer.

You nominate beneficiaries and attach conditions to each: immediate access, delayed release, or release on verified events. Different people can receive different parts of the archive. Independent verifiers, such as notaries, can participate in the transmission process without holding custody of your content.

The architecture uses end-to-end encryption and is post-quantum ready by design, with cryptographic integrity proofs and geographic redundancy. Preservation horizons are measured in decades, so the security model is designed against future capabilities, not only current ones.

DNA data storage is a long-term archival research track, not a claim about today's product. The industry is industrialising rapidly and we are following it closely so the vault can adopt the substrate when it becomes operationally viable. Our near-term durability comes from redundancy, open formats and integrity proofs.

Bottle on the Sea is a pre-seed deep-tech venture. The technology architecture is defined and we are raising capital to build the platform, validate the security model and launch first pilots with families, private archives and notarial practices. Joining the waitlist places you in that first cohort.

Pricing is being defined with the first pilot cohort. The model combines a vault subscription with premium preservation services for high-value archives and institutional programmes. Pilot participants help shape it.
